About Sarah

I have been practicing for five years as a mental health counselor. Along with my degree, a big part of what I bring to the table as a clinician is my life experience.I decided to become a therapist, mid-life, after weathering a difficult crisis and learning how to work through it. I believe post-traumatic growth is possible. I see myself as a resource in helping to build my clients' capacity to endure whatever is happening in the moment or the pain of the past.

I have been formally trained in EMDR as well as being certified in mindfulness. I also utilize other interventions based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Existential, and Psychodynamic.

It can be hard to take the first step. I provide a safe, caring and non-judgmental space to meet your unique needs. Together we can find the path that works best for you.
